Terms of Service

Welcome to SpeakHuman. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SpeakHuman app, developed and operated by Omar Hamzah ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using SpeakHuman, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use SpeakHuman. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. What SpeakHuman Does

SpeakHuman lets you record short videos of yourself speaking. The app analyzes your recording using third-party AI services and generates a coaching report covering things like posture, gestures, eye contact, filler words, and pacing, along with suggested exercises.

SpeakHuman is a self-improvement tool, not professional coaching, medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. The feedback generated is produced by AI models and may not always be fully accurate. Use your own judgment when applying any suggestions.

3. Your Account and Content

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You retain ownership of the video and audio you record. By uploading a recording, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process it (including sending it to our third-party AI providers) solely to generate your coaching report, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Don't use SpeakHuman to record or upload content that is illegal, infringes on someone else's rights, or involves anyone other than yourself without their consent.
Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app or its backend systems.

4. AI-Generated Feedback

Coaching reports are generated using third-party AI services (Google Gemini, AssemblyAI, and Groq). These reports are automated and provided "as is." We don't guarantee that feedback will be complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose (such as a specific job interview or presentation outcome). SpeakHuman is a practice tool intended to support your own judgment, not replace it.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

SpeakHuman is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated feedback will improve your speaking performance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated feedback, technical outages, or data loss.

6. Account Termination

You may stop using SpeakHuman and request deletion of your account at any time by emailing speak.hum4n@gmail.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including misuse of the app or abusive behavior toward our systems.

7. Changes to the App and These Terms

SpeakHuman is an actively developed app, and features may change, be added, or be removed over time. We may update these Terms as the app evolves; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We'll update the "Last Updated" date above when changes are made.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
